What is Jawline Sculpting?

A well defined jawline slowly changes with age, causing the jawline to weaken by volume loss and sagging skin, this skin is known as “Jowls”.  Dermal fillers can be injected in the deep dermis below the skin in the recessed area between the jowl and the chin to restore a natural, straighter contour from cheek to chin.

15 – 20 minutes before the treatment takes place, a prescription anaesthetic cream is applied to the injection sites. The filler is injected at precise locations and the skin is massaged to smooth the material. The patient is conscious during the procedure, so they can provide real-time guidance to ensure the results meet their expectations and goals.

What products do we use for Jawline Sculpting?

The product we use for Chin Reshaping is Teoxane Volux. Teoxane Volux is a brand new ‘structural’ dermal filler gel which provides the perfect solution for clients who want to improve the definition of chin and jawline. Specifically designed for the lower face, this product promises to restore facial definition that can last for up to 24 months.

Are there side effects?

There is no recovery time needed for Chin Re-shaping or Jawline Sculpting, which means you can immediately see the results. Regular activities can resume straight away, with many patients going back to work on the same day. However slight tenderness, bruising or swelling can occur for the first couple of days. Ice can be applied immediately after treatment to minimize these effects.  Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen or advil for 2 days after treatment – AVOID them for 1 week prior to treatment. Avoid excessive exercise for 24 hours after treatment. If you suffer from cold sores, make sure that you have an oral prescription prior to your treatment as it may provoke an outbreak.

How long will it last?

Treatment results will vary with the individual; however Teoxane Volux generally lasts between 18-24 months.

Price:

1ml of Teoxane Volux costs from €350
